Acro Courses
Our acro courses are for pilots who already have good siv skills and are wanting to start flying acro. We also cater for pilots already flying acro and just want to learn new manoeuvres in a safe environment. We offer a full step by step acro programme for pilots who what to work their way through each acro manoeuvre or pilots can choose any particular manoeuvres they want to learn.
Our instuctor is an experienced acro pilot/instructor.
Included in course
- 2-4 day course (depending on number of participants)
- 4 flights minimum, 6 flights maximum
- radio instruction throughout each flight
- extensive briefing and debriefing with video analysis
- transport to launch
- rescue boat
- life vest
- radio and headset for inflight instructions
- footage of each flight to take home
- lunch each day

These manoeuvres will be limited to or exceeded by each persons individual ability and comfort
Pilot requirements
- pilot must be confident in basic siv manoeuvres prior to taking part in any acro course
*- pilot must be a member or temporary member of nzhgpa
- pilot must have minumum pg2 licence or equivilant
- pilot must have own glider, harness and reserve
*- glider must have current wof
*- pilot must supply proof that reserve has been packed within the last 6 months
* can be arranged by us prior to course
